Dandenong Market is celebrating the Full Moon Festival with a fun day of free entertainment for the whole family.

Discover the many delicious flavours, aromas and sounds of Dandenong Market's Full Moon Festival. Now in its sixth year, this free festival is a celebration showcasing stunning performances and the best street food from South East Asia.

Delight in a jam-packed schedule of entertainment including the awe-inspiring lion dance and dragon dance. There will also be food trucks and stalls selling deliciously authentic Asian street food including satays, street barbecue, pad Thai, Korean fried chicken and more.

The Full Moon Festival celebrates the brightest and fullest moon, a traditional Chinese custom that symbolises peace, prosperity and family reunion. Come celebrate with us.

Full Moon Festival Performances

 10am    Kita Performing Arts Company

Kita Performing Arts Company (also trading as Sabrina Chou Dance Company) presents traditional and contemporary performing arts of Asia.

11am      Lestari Indonesian Dance

Sanggar Lestari specialises in Indonesian Culture including Angklung, Batik, Dance & traditional fashion parades. A diverse group who share the passion to promote cross cultural understanding through the fun and art of Dance and Theatre!

12pm    Kung Fu Demonstration
