See Melbourne's iconic Queen Victoria Market transformed into Delhi's Chandni Chowk – one of Delhi's oldest and busiest markets.

Bustling with vendors serving flavours from all over India, and humming with classical and Bollywood beats, it will have all the colour and sounds of India. 

Pick up an Indian handicraft, or get some henna applied. Join free  cultural activities from cooking demos to yoga classes, sari tying to Bollywood dancing.

This event gives the wider community an opportunity to come along and experience Indian culture through its food, flavours, arts and crafts and entertainment.

Feast on the flavours of India as the Indian Festival Melbourne takes over the Queen Victoria Market for a weekend in March.

Sample trusted favourites like spicy samosas and butter chicken, try tasty street food specials like Bengali fish, tangy pani puris and Indian burgers, and keep cool with kulfi, a refreshing hand-churned ice-cream.
Watch Bollywood dancing and live music, try out a free yoga sessions and the little ones will love the kids’ zone, with performances, workshops and other fun activities.

Many cultural traditions enrich our welcoming and multicultural city and the Indian Festival Melbourne is an annual highlight for the Indian community.
